The Missing Piece in Postpartum Care
Remember all those prenatal appointments? Then the baby arrives and suddenly you’re on your own. That six-week checkup feels like an eternity away when you’re struggling with feeding at day three.
That’s where we come in.
As infant feeding specialists, we look beyond just breast and baby. We assess oral function, positioning, latch, milk transfer, and the overall health of both parent and baby. Sometimes what looks like a milk supply issue is actually something completely different.
Our support spans your entire feeding journey — from prenatal education to weaning, whether that’s 3 months or 3 years.
Milk Guide lactation consultants provide emotional and social support to new families. We advocate for and provide referrals for more advanced care or interventions when needed.
We collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, doulas, speech-language pathologists, bodyworkers and pediatricians to provide comprehensive care for babies and their parents.
